The HTR (High Temperature Resistance) treatment prevents the leather from shrivelling due to repeated exposure to heat and thus preserves the suppleness of leather gloves and mittens. The aluminised glove top protects the back of the hand against radiant heat and molten metal splashes. The glove is recommended for foundry casting (cast iron, steel, aluminium) or welding and flame-cutting operations.

Our hoods are to be used in addition to the appropriate aluminised garments. To improve thermal comfort, the hoods can be ventilated with a breathable compressed air supply. This ventilation does not replace and does not preclude the need for the appropriate respiratory protection.
