ChemDefend® 110 Chemical Clothing

The ChemDefend® 110 range of protective coveralls utilise the latest SMMS nonwoven technology, whereby two layers of meltblown polypropylene barrier films are sandwiched between structural spunbonded polypropylene outer layers. The polypropylene is spun to a fine dtex to create a high fibre density. This delivers a strong breathable material with excellent protection against particulate hazards. For the whole suit the Type 5 Total Inward Leakage figure TIL = 3.71 %.

  • Type 5 – EN ISO 13982-1:2004+A1:2010 – Dry particle protection – suits which provide protection to the full body against airborne solid particles.
  • Type 6 – EN13034:2005+A1:2009 – Reduced spray-suits which offer limited protection against a light spray of liquid chemicals.
  • EN1149-5:2008 – Protective clothing with electrostatic dissipative properties.
