POLIBLITZ ABEK 15 Escape Mask

In the event of unexpected and sudden presence of toxic substances at workplace and anywhere, heavy  damage could occur to whom who have to breath contaminated air. The immediate use of protective devices can easily assure the user breathable air, provided the oxygen level in the environment is enough. The sooner is the donning of the device, the lesser the damage for the user will be.

Features

Poliblitz ABEK 15 is a protective filter device equipped with a half mask, that provides a protection for at least 15 minutes. The opening is fast and immediate, the use consists in donning the half mask, adjusting the harness and leaving the contaminate area.
The filter doesn’t offer protection against dusts and fumes or carbon monoxide: it isn’t therefore suitable for fire escape emergency.
The half mask is comfortable and guarantees a good protection, besides a good verbal communication. The rigid package is solid, compact and it can be carried on the belt having a weight of 400 g. Storage is possible in an environment with temperature between +2°C and +55°C and a humidity lower than 80%. The presence of the seal assures that no tampering, falls or inadvertent opening occurred. If properly stored in its original packaging, the device has a shelf life of 4 years from the production date.

Specification

The respirator is available in POLIBLITZ ABEK 15 “Ex” version: ATEX approved, according to the 94/9/EC ATEX Directive. It is suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The device is of Group II (for civil and industrial environments); Category 1, for 0 and 20 zones (by far the zones with the highest risk of explosion).
